The director general of Qom Municipality Cultural and Artistic and Sports Organization announced the planting of 6090 trees named Qom Martyrs in the Martyrs’ Memorial Park as well as inauguration of the park.
, He made the remarks at a Qom Municipality’s virtual press conference, which was held on the occasion of the anniversary of the historical arrival of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) and Qom Day.
Elaborating on Qom Day programs, Abolghasem Moghimi said that Qom Municipality has started various programs by the order of Qom Mayor, and that in this regard, Qom Day Secretariat was set up in the municipality with the focus on cultural organization.
The municipality official stated that given spread of the Coronavirus and the economic hardships of the people during this time, the slogan of “Without Your Favor, This Pain is not Cured”” determined as the slogan of Qom Day.
Touching upon the programs in three areas of citizenship, public culture and self-sacrifice and martyrdom and development of cultural and social infrastructure, Moghimi stressed that due to the cooperation of other agencies, programs appropriate to the job descriptions of different parts were announced by the governor.
Emphasizing special capacity of Qom Day for the development of socio-cultural and economic infrastructure, he noted that various agencies should engage in economic development, including small businesses that support female breadwinners.
