The head of the Technology and Information Organization of Qom Municipality said the first step to reaching a smart city is to make all our services electronic.
When a Qomi citizen wants to get a building permit, there is no traditional and manual system anymore, and he takes his registration documents and an electronic urban planning file is issued to him, he noted.
Even maps and documents related to the issuing permits have been issued electronically, and in addition to all this, the signature system has been made electronic, as well, he added.
Qom Municipality provides all its services to its citizens based on electronic systems, he concluded.
