The chairman of the Cultural and Social Commission of Qom Islamic City Council says paying attention to cultural issues is one of the important concerns of urban management and should be considered.
Mostafa Molai made the comments in the 68th official and public session of Qom Islamic City Council.
The assignment of a part of Hashemi Park to the board of trustees and the residents of the Payam Noor neighborhood for the construction of a mosque was done by maintaining the ownership of the municipality, he said.
Ad with the construction of a mosque in Hashemi Park, a cultural center has been created in the park and can cover the region in this area as well, he noted.
He stressed the need for the region to build a mosque and added, “There is a great need to build a mosque in this region and the municipality of the region has done a lot of follow-ups to obtain this permission, which is appreciable.”
