The mayor of Qom announced the definitive contract for the delivery of 55 metro wagons to the city with a credit of over 30 thousand billion rials.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the announcement at the 67th official and public meeting of the Qom Islamic City Council.
While congratulating the National Transportation Day, he said that the definitive contract for the delivery of 55 wagons to Qom city has been finalized and the amount of the contract is close to 70 million euros, which is nearly equivalent to 30 thousand billion rials.
The mayor went on to note that the administration of Qom city does not pay any fee for the purchase of wagons and the government pays for it, which can be very good and beneficial for Qom city.
In addition, he asserted that a contract for 100,000 electric motorcycles has also been signed with Mehr Bank in the country, which is definitely considered a quota for Qom Municipality, which can help the city management in controlling air pollution.
