The deputy of environment and urban services of Qom municipality announced the progress of 95% of the project of the second waste processing line of the Alborz site.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the announcement during his visit to the under construction projects in waste management.
The implementation steps of the second waste processing line have started in March 2020 with the aim of reducing the direct burial of municipal waste to zero, he stated.
He further noted that this project currently enjoys physical progress of 95%.
The construction of all parts of the line, including conveyors, magnets, separation platforms and separation room, electrical panels and control room have been completed and installed at the project site, he added.
The 600 ton Qom urban waste processing and separation line factory is active on a 5 thousand square meter land and employs 60 people in the Alborz processing and conversion industries complex, he concluded.
