In order to encourage taxi drivers to use POS machines and remove cash from the process of paying fares, the General Administration of Tax Affairs of Qom province put on the agenda the removal of tax from the funds paid for passenger fares via electronic payment devices.
In this plan, after checking the bank statements and in case of verification of the said deposits, it will not be subject to a separate tax, which will be a privilege for taxi drivers to use POS machines.
In this context, in order to ensure the transparency of economic and financial activities, it is necessary for POS machine owners to separate other personal accounts from electronic payment accounts.
