The mayor of Qom says the municipality is seriously pursuing the supply of electric vehicles for pedestrian routes, and based on this urgency, leaving the auction formalities in the supply process was put on the agenda.
Dr. Seyyeed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks in the 61st official and public meeting of Qom Islamic City Council.
Referring to the issues raised in the comprehensive plan of transportation and traffic studies of Qom city, he stated that Qom city has special sensitivities in some routes that should be taken care of.
He further pointed out the challenges of providing electric vehicles for pedestrian routes.

Unfortunately, despite these measures, the work remains half-finished and despite the agreement with the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) to provide 22 drivers, the process has started from the beginning and this process has taken time, he concluded.
