The head of the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qom paid a visit to the Qom Metro project.
Hamid Makarem together with the head of the city train organization visited the latest status of the Qom metro project.
Any support through diplomacy to advance and develop public transportation, especially rail transportation, is among the plans of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he said.
During this visit, he expressed his satisfaction with the progress made in the first phase of line one of the Qom metro.
The official considered the use of some domestic production capacities in the Qom metro for the first time in the country as a sign of the ability of the country’s youth in all fields of construction, production and innovation.
For his part, Mohammad Reza Angoshtbaf, the head of the Qom City Train Organization said, “Attracting domestic and foreign funds in order to provide financial resources as well as providing the fleet using the capacity of economic diplomacy is considered as one of the things that can be effective in the direction of the completion and progress of this national project.”
