In a group meeting of the members of the Qom Islamic City Council with the head of the province’s public libraries, the development of the infrastructure and facilities of these important cultural centers was emphasized.
Mehdi Tavakolian, head of the Qom public libraries organization, while attending the Qom Islamic City Council, met and talked with Mahmoud Mesgari, the vice president, Ruhollah Amrollahi, the spokesperson, Majid Akhvan and Mohsen Moharri, members of the Islamic Council of Qom.
During this meeting, the members of the Qom Islamic City Council stressed the support, development and equipping of the city’s public libraries and their promotion as important issues in urban regeneration and the promotion of citizenship culture.
For his part, the head of the Qom public libraries institution also pointed out the activities of 24 public libraries in the province and reported that 20,000 people visit these cultural centers on the daily basis.
