The CEO of Qom Municipality’s Information and Communication Technology Organization announced the execution of the first phase of smartening the lighting and irrigation systems of Qom’s gardens in 1401.
Ali Momen Hejazi made the announcement pointing out that one of the tasks of this organization is to make the city smart in different dimensions and areas.
One of the programs that is on the agenda of the Information and Communication Technology Organization in 1401 is smartening (irrigation and lighting) parks in terms of optimizing energy consumption, he underlined.
He then stated that in the near future, the first phase of smartening green space project is planned for the bird park and women’s park complex.
In this regard, several meetings have been held with companies active in this field and colleagues in the municipality green space organization, he added.
Describing this plan as positive, he reiterated, “By installing a set of hardware and sensors, air temperature, soil moisture level, as well as the amount of water needed to irrigate the green space of the gardens and finally the discussion of smart irrigation will happen.”
