The CEO of the Waste Management Organization of Qom Municipality says 55 waste recycling booths are currently working across the city.
Seyyed Abdollah Mirebrahimi, referring to the activities of waste collection booths in the city, stated, “Currently, 55 waste collection and purchase booths are active in Qom city.
In Qom municipality waste booths, 75% of the value of waste is paid to the citizens, and efforts have been made to maintain its competitive aspect with the open market, he asserted.
The CEO of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization noted, “Currently, the price of mixed waste per kilo is 4,125 Tomans, but there is a price difference in the past contracts, which will be resolved in the form of new contracts to increase the competitive aspect.”
In the new contracts of Qom Municipality with the private sector, efforts have been made to increase the price and rate of municipal waste, especially in the field of separation from the source, he underscored.
