The CEO of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization has emphasized the necessity of creating a think tank and interacting with knowledge-based companies in urban services.
Seyyed Abdullah Mirebrahimi made the comments during a visit to the science and technology park of the province.
Touching upon the necessity of benefiting from the capacity of knowledge-based collections, he said, “If scientific capacities are identified in the field of waste management, services can be expanded.”
He went on to say that knowledge-based companies can be present from the most basic waste management circle to the end.
At the stage of waste production, which is done in homes, how to store waste and deliver it to executive agents, as well as in the field of waste burial, considering the variety of waste we have, we can benefit from new knowledge, he added.
Knowledge-based companies can also develop ideas in creating spaces for dialogue and interaction with citizens and producing content suitable for different walks of life, he underlined.
In order to achieve this interaction, we need to hold frequent meetings to reach a mutual understanding of the demands and capacities of both parties, he concluded.
