With the efforts of the city management group, Guilds Town of Qom has been a place for the gathering of various urban guilds in the past years.
The completion and handing over of this town are being followed up strengthfully by the municipality of Qom.
With this move, the municipality is trying to organize guilds in a town outside the city, to prevent disturbing and polluting jobs inside Qom.
The town of guilds is located on the 5th kilometer of the old Qom-Tehran road with an area of 157 hectares and is designed in three phases.
Its first phase consists of 385 units of iron and steel, and until today 310 units have been completed and 200 units of the iron market complex have been fully activated. They move 10 to 15 trills of iron and bring it to the consumer market every day.
The number of units in this town is 1,604 units and 1,300 units have been handed over, of which 976 units are related to door and window makers and more than 385 units are ironmongers.
