The governor of Karbala says the holy city of Qom has many experiences in the field of beautification, city train, urban services, etc., which can be used to improve the conditions of religious cities in Iraq.
Hossein Mangoshi made the remarks today at the meeting with Qom Mayor Dr. Saghaiannejad.
Referring to the progress of this religious city in various fields of urban management, he reiterated that the holy city of Qom has many experiences in the field of beautification, city train, urban services, etc. It is possible to use these experiences to improve the conditions of religious cities in Iraq.
The governor further stated that one of the problems of religious cities in Iraq is transferring pilgrims.
Plans have been made to establish rail transportation and communication between the two cities of Najaf and Karbala, and in this context, Qom Municipality can help and share the experiences of the city train, he added.
Emphasizing that we are looking for the sisterhood of the two cities of Karbala and Qom, he underscored that we are trying to use the experiences of the holy city of Qom in the fields of beautification, historical context and urban services in cooperation with the municipalities of Qom and Karbala.
