The CEO of Qom Municipality’s Fire and Safety Services Department announced the formulation of safety guidelines for markets and warehouses by the province’s fire brigade.
Abbas Jafari made the announcement at a meeting with the CEO of Salafchegan Special Economic Zone while welcoming and appreciating the CEO of this special zone for attending the fire department of Qom Province on the occasion of Firfighters Day.
He declared the formulation of safety guidelines for markets and warehouses by the province’s fire brigade, adding, “With the efforts of the fire department’s expert colleagues, this guideline was prepared and after its approval sent to the entire country.”
Referring to the importance of this day and this profession; he compared firemen to frontline warriors.
Firefighters, like frontline warriors, enter this profession with the spirit of selflessness and martyrdom, therefore maintaining peace and security and saving human lives, according to verse 32 of Surah Ma’idah, shows the significance of this job, he stated.
Due to the improvement of the scientific and work level of the firefighting personnel of the province and having expert colleagues in various fields of engineering, HSE and other matters, we are ready for any kind of cooperation at different levels with the Salafchegan Special Economic Zone, he underlined.
