The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality says the first phase of the central fire station of Qom will be put into operation by the end of the year on an area of 8,600 square meters with a credit of more than 13 billion tomans.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the comments on the sidelines of visiting the fire stations and firefighters on the occasion of the National Day of Firefighters and Safety Services.
In the framework of this program, while appreciating Qomi firefighters, various departments of fire stations were visited by provincial and city managers and members of the Islamic City Council, and the most important future needs of this organization were examined and emphasized, he told reporters.
He paid attention to firefighter’s day and safety services and noted that the promotion of the culture of selflessness and sacrifice is one of the most important reasons and factors for this designation in the country’s calendar and that the firefighters have always sacrificed their lives in the way of protecting the lives and property of citizens in accordance with sincerity.
