The chairman of the Islamic City Council of Qom has praised the municipality’s performance during Arbaeen mourning says, appreciating its great efforts in facilitating issues.
Hossein Eslami made the comments at the 55th official and public meeting of the Qom Islamic City Council on Monday.
The municipality worked well in providing services to the pilgrims and travelers on the Arbaeen Hosseini Walk, he asserted.
It should be noted that the Qom city management group had used all its capacity and facilities to serve the Arbaeen pilgrims on the route to and from the epic procession.
All the employees of Qom Municipality had prepared the holy city of Qom for the presence of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims for the past two months by forming the headquarters and special Arbaeen committees.
The holy city of Qom annually hosts millions of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims, and this year due to the elimination of Coronavirus restrictions, the enthusiastic presence of pilgrims on the way to and from Karbala in Qom was witnessed.
This issue caused Qom Municipality to use all its facilities and capacities to welcome pilgrims.
