The head of the Legal and Supervision Commission of the Qom Islamic City Council stated that the council considers itself to be the representative and voice of the citizens, noting the city council is a supporter of the citizens in bilateral agreements.
Mohsen Mohareri made the remarks at the 53rd official and public session of the Qom Islamic City Council.
The council is trying to respect the rights of the municipality and to gain the satisfaction of the citizens in terms of agreements and contracts, he said.
Referring to obtaining the permission to delegate authority to the General Legal Director of the Mayor of Qom, he asserted, “The permission of this delegation of authority is valid until the end of the current term of the Islamic Council of the city.”
He then touched upon the governor’s letter in protest against the Qom Islamic City Council Enactment 1015 regarding the contract concluded with one of the citizens and added that due to respect to the citizen’s rights, the city council is the collaborative view in bilateral agreements.
