The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom municipality and the head of Arbaeen headquarters announced the installation of direction signs in Arabic, English and Urdu throughout the city, saying the municipality enjoys full readiness for serving pilgrims.
Mehdi Isfahanian Moghadam made the announcement at the coordination and planning meeting of Arbaeen Headquarters 1401 of Qom Municipality.
Referring to the plans for holding the magnificent Arbaeen ceremony after the end of the coronavirus restrictions, he said, ” We hope that this year, after the passing of two years, we will be able to provide the most service to the pilgrims of Imam Hossein (AS).”
The deputy of Environment and Urban Services of Qom Municipality asserted that according to the predictions made this year, we will have nearly one million foreign pilgrims from countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Urdu-speaking countries, as well as some of our compatriots in the city.
The official also brought up the landscaping and environmental advertising and added, “Landscaping and advertising are carried out in full coordination with the districts and beautification organization, and in line with proper services to foreign pilgrims, direction signs in three languages, Arabic, English and Urdu, are installed at the accommodation places.
