Iran’s comprehensive urban studies portal was unveiled with the participation of seven metropolises of the country in cooperation with the Qom Islamic City Council.
The Islamic City Council of Qom, along with six other metropolitan cities, has cooperated in the launch of a comprehensive urban studies portal of Iran, which was set up under the supervision of the research center of the city of Tehran,
The cities of Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, Tabriz, Karaj, Isfahan, and Ahvaz are seven metropolises that cooperated in launching this comprehensive urban studies portal of Iran. They register all of their research topics in the urban area in this system.
Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Dehnad, head of the Construction and Transportation Commission of the Qom Islamic Council, considered the most important goals of setting a comprehensive urban studies portal to prevent parallel work and benefit other cities and research centers from the conducted research, the result of which is the use of experiences gained and the reduction of cost and time.
It should be noted that more than 3 thousand research topics have been registered in this portal so far.
