The mayor of Qom announced the robust implementation of urban projects, saying executing them with all strength and bringing them to fruition is on the agenda.
Seyyed Morteza Saqaiannejad made the comments in the ceremony of opening, operation, and start of executive operations of 13 urban projects of Qom with a credit of over 1,300,000 billion Rials.
The opening process of urban projects in Qom will continue until the end of the year, the mayor declared.
He said that the main policy of Qom Municipality this year is to deal more with software issues based on the second operational plan of Qom 2026.
Topics related to calming the urban environment, especially in the core of the city center, are among the executive programs, he stated.
He noted that the plan to collect 15 kilometers of abandoned rails is being implemented, and only one kilometer of it is left in the area of Resalat Street.
The collection of abandoned rails will add 10 hectares to the green space of Qom, and in addition, the transportation situation will also improve, he added.
Eight important projects have been defined in the central core of the city, and in the coming days, a call to attract investors will be made for the implementation of the project and the increase of 1,600 car parking spaces is one of the goals of this project, he concluded.
