The deputy of transportation and traffic of Qom Municipality has said that the body plays an important role in the Arbaeen journey of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims on the way to and from Iraq.
Masoud Tabibi made the comments at the meeting of the Council of the Organization of Passenger Terminals of Qom Municipality on Tuesday.
The opportunity of the presence of commercial units near the two passenger terminals of 72-Tan Square and the central terminal should be used appropriately, and detailed economic and scientific plans should be examined in this field, he stated.
The deputy of transportation and traffic Organization of Qom Municipality further emphasized the importance of improving services to Arbaeen pilgrims this year.
In addition to creating a favorable platform for providing services to pilgrims, the municipality’s Passenger Terminal Organization should take serious measures to realize the budget, he asserted.
He considered the significance of providing decent services to all passengers entering Qom as well as non-Iranian pilgrims, adding, “Due to its transportation location, Qom is a place for Iraqi travelers on the way to and from Mashhad, which is necessary to provide the proper facilities for optimal services.”
Tabibi reiterated that Qom plays an important role in the Arbaeen journey of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims on their way to and from Iraq, noting that by establishing a connection with travel sources and coordination with travel branches, the conditions for better service delivery will be made in a more acceptable manner.
