Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) and Qom Municipality have held a meeting, exploring avenues of joint measures to facilitate the commute and attendance of pilgrims in the Holy Shrine.
The second coordination meeting between the managers of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) and the Qom Municipality was held with the aim of reviewing the plans to create easy traffic and the way pilgrims can attend easily the Holy Shrine.
The meeting was hosted by trustees of the holy shrine and was held in the presence of Hojjatuleslam Abdi, the director of the holy shrine, Tabibi, the deputy for transportation and a group of managers of the transportation and traffic department and bus and taxi organizations, Kalanterzadeh, director general of communications and international affairs of Qom municipality, General Sadfi, head of the Qom highways and some other urban affairs specialists.
During the meeting, while reviewing the approvals of the previous meeting and how to implement them, the implementation of 7 new approvals was put on the agenda.
Execution of a memorandum of understanding between the municipality and the holy shrine in order to facilitate free commute of the elderly and the disabled by electric cars on the axis of Bahar Boulevard to entrance number 11 of the shrine and from Shahada Crossroads to entrance number 2 of the Shrine through the providing of a vehicle and driver by the holy shrine and payment Consumption and current costs of cars by Qom municipality were also among the approvals that were decided to be implemented as soon as possible.
