The director of Qom Municipality Transportation and Traffic Organization announced that 20 intersections have been approved by the technical committee which the traffic organization is implementing their smartization, and by the end of this year, all of them will be operational.
Hossein Shabanzadeh, referring to the completion of the installation of suspended pedestals and traffic lights at the intersections of Shahid Mofteh and Shahid Akhlaghi Boulevards and Keshavarz Intersection (former Keshavarz Square), announced the implementation of a smart traffic system in all intersections executed in this project.
Given the emphasis of the vice president of transportation and traffic of Qom municipality and the provision of the necessary items for the implementation of the intersections approved by the technical committee of the traffic council, the initial phase of this project begins at the intersection of Shahid Muftah Boulevard and Shahid Akhli Boulevard in District four, he stated.
He went on to say that this project is still being pursued in the former Keshavarz Square in District six.
Accordingly, the implementation of 20 intersections has been approved by the technical committee which the traffic organization is implementing their smartization, using decorative suspended bases, and all 20 intersections will be operational by the end of this year.
