The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality announced the holding of a training course on planting and maintaining flowers and plants for students at schools.
Payam Javadian stated that the training unit of the Parks Organization has implemented the educational plan as a pilot in one of the schools of district 8.
Given that most of the houses in district 8 are apartments and the people are apartment dwellers; The focus of the training was the discussion of houseplants, maintenance of green space and increasing concern about green space among students, he said.
Stressing the presence of parents, especially students’ mothers in these training courses, he noted, “Mothers, along with students, receive the necessary content regarding the maintenance of green space.”
The director of Qom Municipality Parks and Green Space Organization went on to say that the presence of mothers encourages more students to preserve green space.
Great efforts have been made to select educational topics in a way that is most attractive to students, he added.
This training was also presented in a practical way, and students visited the research center of the green space organization, he concluded.
