The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality announced that the relocation and cutting of trees in the city without the license of the Article 7 Commission of the municipality is illegal and will be dealt with legally.
Payam Javadian made the remarks referring to the measures taken to develop green space during recent years in the city of Qom.
In recent years, the municipality has spent significant expenditures on the development of green space in the city and the completion of the green belt of Qom so that we can help increase the of the city and improve the climate, he noted.
He also confirmed that planting every single tree has heavy costs for the city and its citizens.
To this end, the preservation of green capital in the city is of particular importance and great efforts have been made in recent years to prevent the cutting of trees and led to their preservation and maintenance, he stated.
The director of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality stressed that the commission subject to Article 7 is active to investigate and prevent the cutting of trees and their relocation.
