The mayor of Qom says one of the priorities of Qom Municipality this year is to facilitate the access of the citizens and pilgrims of the Karimeh Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to the holy shrine.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks in the meeting of the Board of Directors of Qom Municipality on Thursday.
Touching upon the significance of the slogan of the year in the measures of Qom Municipality, he stated that Qom Municipality welcomes new ideas, knowledge-based and job-creating proposals in the field of urban management.
Pointing to the importance of using the capacity of knowledge-based companies in the implementation of urban management programs, he added, “All deputies and specialized departments should have careful planning and action to fulfill the slogan of the year.”
Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei designated the new Iranian calendar year of 1401 as the year of “Production: Knowledge-Based and Job-Creating.”
In his Nowruz message, the leader called on the government and the nation to work hard to boost knowledge-based production and create new jobs.
