The head of the Passenger Terminals Organization of Qom Municipality announced the transfer of 1,570,000 passengers through the passenger terminals of this organization in 1400.
Speaking to reporters, Seyed Reza Hosseini elaborated on the municipality’s organization of passenger terminals’ statistics.
In 2016, the number of passengers leaving the terminals was one million and 970 thousand people, while in 2021, despite the coronavirus restrictions, the final number reached one million and 570 thousand people, which shows that we have a lot of work to do, he stated.
It should be noted that in the 32nd public session of the Qom Islamic City Council, the bill to obtain the 1401 budget license of the Passenger Terminals Organization with the amount of 9 billion and 600 million Tomans was approved by a majority vote of the city council members.
The chairman of Qom Municipality Passenger Terminals Organization said that this year’s budget is without the help of the Central Municipality.
By eliminating the help of the central municipality to this organization, we should have a 100% increase in revenue this year, he added.
