The mayor of Qom says there are 17 ongoing projects in different areas of the city, and the priority of the municipality is to complete them, pointing out that we are following the Qom 1404 operational plan for the second year.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad made the remarks in a meeting with Ayatollah Saeedi, the custodian of the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS).
He said the municipality budget has been approved for about 5 thousand billion tomans this year, adding, “Last year, the municipal budget was 3,600 billion tomans, of which more than 90% of the budget was realized, while in planning, the realization of plans is predicted usually less than 50%.”
Emphasizing pursuing Qom 1404 operational plan for the second year, he reiterated that there are 17 ongoing projects in the city of Qom that our priority is their completion.
The fifth phase of Ammar Yaser axis and Ghadir tunnel, Jomhuri Eslami tunnel and boulevard in District Two, the non-level intersection of Namaz and Shahid Hakim intersection are among these important projects, he added.
The mayor of Qom, stating that the first phase of the Qom metro line is also ready for testing, noted, “We were supposed to borrow a wagon from Tehran, which, despite the order of the mayor of Tehran, faced obstacles that we are following the issue.”
