The head of Qom Municipality’s deputy for urban services says citizens have expressed their satisfaction with the municipality’s function on Nature Day via different platforms.
Mehdi Esfahanian Moghaddam made the remarks referring to the services provided by Qom Municipality to citizens on Nature Day.
Given the massive presence of people in the parks on Nature Day, with the pre-arranged programs, the needs of the citizens, including the sanitary services, prayer halls and booths across the parks, were anticipated, he noted.
No serious problem was observed with the efforts of the service forces in these fields, he added.
He went on to say that due to the need to ensure safety in the parks, with the coordination of the fire department, car and motorcycle crews were present in the parks from the early morning hours until the end of the citizens’ presence in the parks.
The head of deputy for urban services of Qom Municipality reiterated that to maintain the cleanliness of parks and gardens, the service troops distributed garbage bags at the entrances of the city among the citizens so that with the participation of all groups of people, the environment and the green space of the city preserved and not damaged.
