Following the opening of 100 urban projects in the sixth step, the inauguration ceremony of 51 projects of Qom Municipality was held.
Ayatollah Araki, a member of the Experts Assembly, Dr. Saghaiannejad, the mayor of Qom, representatives of the military and law enforcement agencies of the province, members of the Islamic City Council of Qom, deputies, and city managers were among those who participated in the opening ceremony.
Some inaugurated projects include the first phase of Pilgrim Park and 40,000 meters of new urban green space, the beginning of the second phase of Khezr Nabi Park (AS), and the unveiling of the advanced fire extinguishing system AFT (Watermist).
In this event, the 20-hectare Pilgrim Park with a credit of 250 billion rials and with the aim of improving the city’s recreational space, capacity building and completing the tourism chain, preserving the natural landscape of the project site, and maximum utilization of the site topography as well as attention to the principles of sustainable development in terms of environmental, social and economic, was put into operation.
Also, the executive operation of phase 2 of Hazrat Khezr Nabi (AS) Park started with a credit of 264 billion Rials in Imam Khomeini town, between Shahid Avini Boulevard and Khezr Nabi (AS) Mountain.
It is worth mentioning that 10 advanced fire extinguishing systems AFT or Watermist were unveiled in order to increase the service capacity of Qom Municipality Fire and Safety Services.
