Deputy Mayor for Municipal Services says 4,000 forces are ready to serve mid-Shaban pilgrims.
Abbas Zakerian made the remarks in the ceremony for the renewal of allegiance of Qom Municipality employees with Imam Zaman (AS) and the beginning of the activities of the municipal service headquarters to the pilgrims of the holy city of Qom.
Members of the city council, the mayor, deputies, managers, and a group of Qom municipality staff attended the event which was held in the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran on the eve of mid-Shaban.
Zakerian reiterated that Qom Municipality enjoys over 4,000 staff who serve the pilgrims around the clock, however during these two difficult years due to the outbreak of coronavirus, in the middle of Shaban, they could not serve the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran and the holy shrine.
After two years of travel restrictions, it is expected that we will have a crowded ceremony, and based on this, by the order of the mayor, the Pilgrim Facilities and Travel Services Headquarters of Qom Municipality has started working four months ago, he said.
Providing desirable services, observing safety, facilitating the presence of people, easing traffic, information services, improving urban order, easy provision of pilgrims’ needs, improving the appearance and urban landscape are among the goals of the Pilgrim Facilities and Travel Services Headquarters of Qom Municipality.
