The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality says the headquarters of Shabanieh and Nowruz holidays has been formed with 10 committees in Qom Municipality, considering various programs for these days.
Mehdi Kalantarzadeh made the remarks in a live program named “No. 16”, elaborating on the municipality’s programs and measures for Shabanieh and Nowruz holidays.
Qom Municipality has established 10 committees to commemorate the Shabanieh and Nowruz holidays, also forming the municipality facilities headquarters under the supervision of the mayor of Qom metropolis, he stated.
The chief communications officer noted that necessary arrangements have been made to receive millions of pilgrims and travelers in Qom.
After two years of hiatus in holiday programs due to the outbreak of coronavirus, this year the pilgrimage service has been provided in accordance with the health instructions, he added.
On March 12th, with the presence in the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran, the official ceremony of the beginning of the activities of the headquarters of mid-Shaban and Nowruz will be held, he reiterated.
Accordingly, the municipality would welcome the upcoming celebrations with lighting and flower arrangements at the entrance of the city, especially the Boulevard of the Great Prophet (PBUH) and Chaharmardan Street, the design of spring sparrows, and the execution and design of various elements and signs with the theme of mid-Shaban and Nowruz and banners related to these days.
