Spring Sparrows Painting Festival is being held by the Qom Municipality Beautification Organization in Alavi Park, in Alavi Park ahead of Nowruz.
Referring to the Spring Sparrows Festival, Payam Javadian said many efforts have been made to set up this festival over the past years, and this year more designs, ideas, and attractions have been added to it.
He then emphasized the importance of highlighting the popular dimension of the municipality programs.
In this year’s festival, efforts have been made to get involved people more than in previous years, he added.
The municipality official went on to note that “Spring Sparrow” festival has been held for 3 days from Saturday, March 5, with the participation of 40 artists from all over the country in Alavi Park by the Qom Municipality Beautification Organization.
It is worth mentioning that after the call of “Shahrnegar 5”, more than 1500 sketches of spring sparrows from all over the country were sent to the secretariat of this festival, and finally, with the opinion of the jury, the works of 40 artists were selected, he stated.
Evry year ahead of Nowruz, spring sparrows are painted in a practical workshop with vivid and cheerful colors by the Qom City Beautification Organization in the form of an art festival, and after that, they are distributed and located throughout the city.
