The head of the Qom Islamic City Council described the elimination of deprivation and the development of social vitality infrastructure as the most important priorities and strategies of next year’s budget in Qom Municipality.
Hossein Eslami made remarks in the 29th official and public meeting of the Islamic City Council on the subject of approving the budget bill of 1401 of Qom Municipality.
Referring to the strategies of Qom City Council in approving the budget of Qom Municipality in 1401, he said, “Strengthening public transportation, optimal waste management, increasing smart city infrastructure, increasing revenues, eliminating deprivation, developing social vitality infrastructure have been the most important priorities of the city council.”
The forecast of Qom Municipality revenues in this budget is based on 5 years of performance and actual performance of 10 months of this year and the last two months of 1399, Eslami stated.
The management of current expenses along with the increase of the share of construction expenses has been the approach of the Islamic Council of Qom in approving the 1401 budget of Qom Municipality, he added.
Touching upon the municipality’s cash revenue forecast for next year, the councilor noted that in next year’s budget, 1,600 billion tomans of cash revenue and 1,500 billion tomans of non-cash revenue will be predicted.
