The Vice President of the Islamic City Council of Qom says the operation of Shahidan Borghei Boulevard plays a key role in introducing and facilitating access to holy shrines, historical and heritage sites.
Speaking to reporters, Mahmoud Mesgari elaborated on the official operation of the Shahidan Borghei project in district one of Qom city.
More than half a century has passed since the beginning of this city traffic project, and during these years, the residents of the district have faced many problems and challenges, he stated.
Stressing traffic importance of Shahidan Borghei Boulevard, he noted that by operating this boulevard, the connection between Ayatollah Taleghani Street and Enghelab Street has been made more easily and the citizens’ satisfaction has increased.
The Vice President of the Islamic City Council of Qom went on to say that during the last 3 years, with the injection of more than 200 billion Tomans from public budgets, this project was taken out of the state of uncertainty after 56 years and was officially put into operation.
Touching upon the role of Shahidan Borghei Boulevard in accessing the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH) and the holy shrines of Chehel Akhtaran, Mesgari added that by operating this boulevard, it is expected that the holy shrine of Chehel Akhtaran and other buildings and historical sites of this axis will be paid more attention.
