The meeting of Qom Municipality’s Passenger Terminals Organization Council was held on Saturday.
The council’s meeting, aimed at reviewing the latest status and plans of the Passenger Terminals Organization, was held with the presence of Masoud Tabibi, the acting head of transportation and traffic deputy of Qom Municipality.
Seyyed Reza Husseini, Managing Director of Qom Municipality Terminals Organization, managers of districts 3 and 8, officials in the field of municipal transportation, and other members of the council also attended the meeting.
The need to implement the articles of the organization’s association in issues, like collecting information and statistics, designing, planning and developing terminals, attracting committed and specialized staff as well as using the experience of successful terminals inside and outside the country were among the most significant topics that were emphasized.
Speaking at the meeting of Qom Municipality’s Passenger Terminals Organization Council, Masoud Tabibi stressed the need to build a central and well-equipped terminal in a suitable place of the city.
He went on to say that passenger terminal organizations should pay special attention to the establishment of service booths to meet the needs of passengers, adding these booths can be a good source of revenue.
