Deputy of municipal services of Qom Municipality has said that we are ready to welcome the pilgrims of mid-Shaban and Nowruz and provide services to them.
Speaking at the meeting of Qom Municipality’s Pilgrims Facilities Headquarters on Saturday, Abbas Zakerian referred to the significance of urban decoration.
Zakerian asked the managers of Qom 8 districts to take necessary measures to beautify and decorate the city coinciding with various national and religious occasions.
He also elaborated on the municipality’s measures to facilitate the pilgrims’ intercity travels, saying we prioritize moving pilgrims and tourists from the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (AS) and the Holy Mosque of Jamkaran through the public transport fleet.
Despite the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Qom, more than 150 buses are now active in the city, he noted.
The municipal official went on to say that in order to route and provide better service to the pilgrims, it is necessary to upload the exact location and navigation information to the ride parks in one of the most popular routing software.
He finally stated that the municipality of Qom plans to create a culture of waste collection during Nowruz and Mid-Shaban celebrations.
