The Head of Qom Municipality Taxi Management and Supervision Organization has announced that 3,000 taxis in Qom are equipped with electronic payment or QR codes in order to facilitate fare payment.

The system can be installed on mobile phones through the Qom Card application, thus the fare can be easily paid, he noted
Elsewhere in his remarks, he stressed that the taxi fleet is the largest guild organization in the country, explaining that there are 5,128 main drivers and 2,115 auxiliary drivers in the Qom taxi fleet.
