In a decree released on Saturday, the mayor of Qom has ordered the deputies, managers of the eight districts, directors of the affiliated organizations and general administrations to prepare the 1401 budget of Qom Munnicipality.
Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad stressed that the 1401 budget of municipality should be prepared with special attention to the directives of Iran’s Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khamenei in this year’s slogan, “Production: Support and the Elimination of Obstacles.”
Plans should be submitted in accordance with the Qom Vision document 1414 and the second 5-year plan of Qom Municipality, Saghaiannejad said.
In the decrees announced to the municipal officials, the mayor emphasized on paying attention to the strengths and weaknesses of the strategic plan’s policies and strengthening the financial system by reforming financial processes and budgeting in the municipality.
Moreover, saving current costs, changing fundamental change in the processes and structures, eliminating parallel processes, reforming the revenue system and moving towards creating new and sustainable incomes are also highlighted as part of the 1401 budget policies.
It is worth mentioning that the second five-year strategic and operational plan of Qom Municipality named “Qom 1404” was finally ratified by the members of Qom Islamic City Council in a meeting held on July 26.
