Qom mayor’s advisor has said that the municipality was successfully able to develop the city in a balanced way and pay attention to different areas.
Referring to the remarkable performance of Qom Municipality in the implementation of urban projects, Seyyed Abolfazl Esmaeili stated that over the last six years, the projects were accelerated through national and provincial interactions.
The most important measure of urban management in recent years should be considered the balanced development of the city and paying attention to various areas that have changed the views of the city of Qom, Esmaeili noted.
He also touched upon Qom’s development path, adding that unfortunately, the city of Qom has annual arrears which delay the projects implementation but we have made special plans to resolve the problems and run the projects faster.
The municipal official went on to say that 3,000 hectares of decayed urban fabric is one of the main issues of the city of Qom, but despite all the problems, we are on the path of development, and I hope that this growing trend will continue.
In line with the municipality’s efforts to develop the city of Qom, the mayor of Qom Dr. Seyyed Morteza Saghaiannejad had earlier announced that 45 projects will be opened during 12 weeks in the framework of “Qom on the path of development” plan.
