Qom Municipality runs campaign on COVID-19 awareness: Official

The Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality has announced the implementation of an informing campaign called “I got vaccinated. How about you?” with the cooperation of Qom University of Medical Sciences.

The project was carried out following the Qom municipality’s measures to inform people about the COVID-19 related messages and in order to institutionalize, promote and encourage the citizens to get vaccinated, Mehdi Kalantarzadeh stated in an interview on Saturday.

The informing campaign is mainly aimed at urging people to get vaccinated, Kalantarzadeh said, adding one of the important measures of Qom Municipality to informing the citizens and support the healthcare community was the installation of more than 2,400 square meters of information banners in different parts of the city.

He went on to say that the banners, being about the importance of Coronavirus vaccination, were displayed in the forms of strawboard, pendant, and bridge deck.

The municipal official expressed hope that by informing people and encouraging them to get vaccinated, we can accelerate the process of vaccination so that the virus will be eradicated in the city of Qom as soon as possible.

The number of deaths from the Coronavirus pandemic in Iran increased to 105,901 with 614 more Iranians killed by the deadly disease over the past 24 hours, Iran’s Health Ministry announced on Saturday.
