On 8th week of inaugurations, Qom Municipality opens 12 projects

Following the Qom municipality’s measures to pursue “Qom on the path of development’ plan, 12 urban projects were launched today on the eighth week.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Qom mayor, Dr. Saghaiannejad, Ayatollah A’rafi, the director of the country’s seminaries, chairman, and members of the Islamic City Council of Qom, the family of Martyr Ayatollah Hakim, and a group of provincial and city officials.

Some main projects that were put into operation in the ceremony include the inauguration of Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir Hakim Boulevard and non-level intersection.

The projects, which cost more than 3,800 billion rials, mainly aimed at completing urban roads network, distributing traffic, finalizing the communication route of Ferdowsi traffic ring, and connecting districts 4, 1 and 5.

Improving several urban roads and streets, like Martyr Khoda Karam Boulevard, Martyr Chamran Street, 30-meter Sangbari Street, Martyr Abedi Boulevard, etc., are among the other municipal civil and service projects.

The 12 development projects were launched with the aim of creating urban infrastructure, including the improvement of urban roads and streets in the city’s different districts.

Moreover, Qom municipality unveiled a plan to support the construction and development of environmentally friendly buildings to promote citizenship health.

In the framework of ‘Qom on the path of development’ plan, Qom municipality weekly inaugurates some urban projects in different areas in order to serve the citizens.
