On the eighth week of the inauguration, the Qom Municipality operationalized Martyr Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir Hakim Boulevard and direct path of non-level intersection on Monday.

Reportedly, more than 3,800 billion rials were spent on the construction of this boulevard from the intersection of Martyrs Hashemi Shahroudi Blvd. to Jomhuri Eslami Blvd., and a non-level intersection on the Great Prophet (PBUH) Boulevard.

The Ayatollah Mohammad Baqir Hakim non-level intersection has been constructed since September 2016 and the direct route of this intersection with 10 thousand square meters of the concrete deck and 42 thousand square meters of infrastructure and asphalt was put into operation today.

Completing urban roads network, distribute traffic, finalizing the communication route of Ferdowsi traffic ring, and connecting districts 4, 1, and 5 are among the main goals of the first phase of the project.

Other salient features of the Martyr Ayatollah Hakim non-level intersection project include the priority of pedestrian traffic on the Great Prophet (PBUH) Boulevard and the non-interruption of the sidewalk on both sides of the boulevard by the intersection’s exits and entrances.
