40% of Qom citizens use electronic urban planning services: Official

Deputy of urban planning and architecture of Qom municipality has said that forty percent of Qomi citizens registered their applications electronically.

The implementation of services in urban planning and architecture of Qom Municipality has been entrusted to the private sector since the middle of the last year, Alireza Janghorban noted, stating that all clients should receive any request through the services offices, internet cafes, and designed applications.

Saying we have to electronically provide 36 services in urban planning, he explained that more than 10 services are now being offered, and 70% of electronic services will be provided by the end of this year.

Janghorban pointed out that the outsourcing of services in urban planning and architecture fields will make the affairs, like toll calculation in electronic systems, easier and clearer.

Deputy of urban planning and architecture of Qom municipality asserted over 40% of Qom citizens register and file their applications through electronic portals and applications, adding that this shows people’ have come to the conclusion that there is no reason to wait in the long queues of the services offices.

Janghorban previously stressed the municipality’s emphasis on the development of remote activities and announced that a pact has been inked between the Registrars Association, the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Qom Municipality, and the Deputy of Urban Development in this regard to carry out the transfer of property remotely.
