The closing ceremony of the first edition of the Qom Municipality media festival dubbed “Shahr-e Ma” (Our City) held virtually, announcing the full lineup of winners.
Being held online, the closing ceremony was aired via Qom provincial TV channel “Noor” on Thursday night, in order to observe the health protocols amid pandemics.
The event started with speeches by Dr. Saghaiannejad, Mayor of Qom, Mehdi Kalantarzadeh, Director General of Communications and International Affairs of the municipality, and Secretary of the media festival respectively.
Reading the statement of the jury and announcing the winners were other programs of the closing ceremony of the festival.
The media festival, which was held by the Qom Municipality, divided into several parts including text-based products, visual products, and scientific papers.
It should be mentioned that a wide range of journalists and media including both domestic and foreign media had taken part in the Qom Municipality’s media festival.
The media festival aimed to draw people’s attention to the performance and responsibilities of the municipality,
It also sought to show different aspects of urban management functions and to promote the culture of citizenship.
