Director General of Communications and International Affairs of Qom Municipality stated that the media festival of Qom Municipality has welcomed widely by international media.
Referring to different parts of the media festival, Mahdi Kalantarzadeh said that a wide range of journalists and media including both domestic and foreign media have taken part in the Qom Municipality’s media festival.
He emphasized the role of this media festival in drawing people’s attention to the performance and responsibilities of the municipality, adding that municipalities tasked with some 372 missions in the city while people are generally familiar with a few of them.
The municipality official went on to note that the media festival aims to show different aspects of urban management functions and to promote the culture of citizenship.
Meanwhile, Kalantarzadeh stressed the massive participation of non-Persian speaking and international media, elaborating on international parts of the media festival.
International section includes intel religious, scientific and cultural discourse.
The first edition of Qom Municipality media festival dubbed “Our City” has been launched by the General Directorate of Communications and International Affairs.
It was started from July 22 and extended until November 20.
