The Deputy Mayor of Qom Municipality says the first phase of the “Velayat” park entrance’s project is being designed by the design department.
Emphasizing on the implementation of “Velayat” park project, Sayyed Amir Same’ noted that performing this project requires coordination with the Traffic Council.
He went on to add that if this project becomes operational, then we can have a good city park that created from an obsolete forest park.
The municipality official stated that currently, the trees have been pruned in this park and the proper infrastructures have been prepared.
According to him, this park is planned to be built on 18 hectares at present.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he asserted that also spaces such as sports fields, restaurants, etc. planned in the park that can provide a suitable environment for pilgrims and visitors.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Qom stressed the importance of implementing “Velayat” park and said that because the site of Freeway toll booth would be transferred, the park of Velayat becomes more important.
Saghaian Nejad reiterated that by moving the site of Freeway toll booth in this area, it would be at the center of attentions while adding that we should create a suitable capacity for travelers and pilgrims by constructing health services.
