The Minister of Interior says focusing on marginal and less-privileged areas is one of the issues that can be seen at the center stage of Qom Municipality’s measure.
Dr. Ahmed Vahidi made the remarks on the sidelines of the inauguration of Qom’s Shohaday-e Amniat Tunnel.
Appreciating the city management group of Qom and the provincial authorities for following up on the project of Qom’s Shohaday-e Amniat Tunnel, he said that the residents of these neighborhoods also cooperated well with the Qom Municipality so that this project would come to fruition.
One of the values of the Qom Shohaday-e Amniat is to be located in less-privileged neighborhoods, which shows the managers’ approach to the issue of depriving and developing social justice, the minister remarked.
Following the start of the new phase of opening major projects within the framework of “Qom on the path of development” with 218 projects and with a credit of over 29 thousand billion rials, Shohaday-e Amniat Tunnel and Underpass was inaugurated on Wednesday.
the 1100-meter-long tunnel and underpass of Qom Shohaday-e Amniat was put into operation in the presence of Interior Minister Ahmed Vahidi and provincial and city managers.
