In a ceremony attended by the Minister of Education, two saplings named after Iranian girls were planted in Najmeh Park of Qom.
According to the news unit of the Parks and Green Space Organization of Qom Municipality, simultaneously with the Education Minister Yousef Nouri trip to Qom, and with the coordination of the Islamic Council of the city, the General Directorate of Education of the province, and the Parks Organization, two saplings named after Iranian girls were planted in Najmeh Park.
One of these seedlings was a fruit palm and the other was a cypress as a symbol of endurance and resistance.
In recent years, the construction of thematic parks, as well as the planting of seedlings with special names and occasions by the Parks and Green Space Organization of the municipality has increased.
For example, last year, on the occasion of the Congress of Martyrs of Qom Province, planting saplings named after the martyrs of Qom Province with the presence of their families in one of the city’s parks was one of these measures.
It is worth mentioning that thematic parks with the title of child, traffic and… have also been built during these years and the construction of thematic parks will continue in the future, as well.
